gov Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Deputy Clerk position is assigned operational responsibilities for the effective operation of Pre-Court/Data Entry functions in a high-volume office.
 Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Prepares correspondence and court forms as well as entry of data into the JCMS (Juvenile Case Management System)  Ensures all court instructions are executed and legal papers prepared with accuracy and in accordance with appropriate policies  Ability to deliver a HIGH degree of tact and diplomacy for customer interaction in person and by phone to the public and interfacing agencies  Preparation of legal papers with accuracy and in accordance with appropriate policies, judicial instructions, and/or statutory regulations  Capable of meeting FREQUENT deadlines  Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills  Ability to work independently, while managing competing priorities; STRONG multitasking skills  Assessing fines and costs  Assuming additional responsibilities other than those primarily assigned to the position as required by management  Possess sound problem-solving skills Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred; possess and demonstrate knowledge and experience of the court judicial process.
Additional Considerations Demonstrate competence in areas of multi-tasking, retaining & applying knowledge of policy/procedures of the court and software applications.
