The City of Newport News is accepting applications from attorneys for a full-time position as a Senior Assistant City Attorney or above.
The ideal candidate would have a breadth of experience in local government law, which may include experience in public utility issues, real estate, economic development, construction contract claims, FOIA, human resources, civil litigation, environmental law and other topics.
Salary and hiring position negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications.

Must be a member of the Virginia State Bar in good standing.
