Summary/Objective:
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of crews on assigned electrical projects.
Provides guidance and direction to crews in meeting the budgets and schedule dates on each project.
Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project.
Interacts with clients, customers and vendors to build lasting relationships.
Cultivates a positive environment to maintain a sufficient and qualified work force.
Essential Functions:
Plans and supervises field crew and / or subcontractor and craft activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power, mechanical and plumbing sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked
Coordinates assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors
Serves as a liaison with engineering, estimating, project team, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule
Maintains relationships with other departments (i.
e.
, Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc.
, support craft activities and project schedule
Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.
)
Monitors craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented
Strong equipment setting capabilities
Performs other duties as assigned

Required:
5+ years' experience as a General Foreman with 4 years of completed electrical apprenticeship program.
Demonstrated planning and scheduling experience
Previous knowledge of man hour reports, job cost reports, workface planning and estimating
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups
Demonstrated knowledge of, reading & interpreting and working to:
Design drawings (isometric and orthographic), design guides, specifications
Support Drawings and specifications
Contract documents and site coordination of subcontractor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to work across varied disciplines
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Ability to plan, look ahead, and set goals for your entire job
OSHA 30 certification
CPR certification
Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.
e.
DMV, criminal history)
Must adhere to all company policy and procedures

Physical Demands:
This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools
While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms
Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
