Overview
Performs a multitude of general maintenance tasks and responsible for ensuring grounds on campus are maintained to standard as assigned at Riverside Health System properties.
Job assignments will include but not limited to: planting installations, all lawn mowing equipment operation including riding mowers, edging and string trimming equipment, snow removal, mulching, trash removal, leaf removal operations, pick up truck and trailer driving operations, fork lift operations; some hedge trimming, weed removal, back-pack spraying, irrigation minor repairs and other landscape jobs.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment such as greasing, oil levels, belt inspections, tire inflation, and cleaning/washing of equipment.

Follows guidelines for proper body mechanics, hazardous material handling and universal precautions to avoid personal accidents and injuries.
Maintains a safe work area and wears all personal protective equipment; i.

Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
Experience
1 year Commercial landscape equipment and working in a professional landscape capacity (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
Registered Spray Technician within 1 Year (Preferred)
Valid Drivers License Required
