Outside Sales - Newport News, VA

Responsibilities: • Live our mission statement • Promote and sell Lansing's products and services • Make 8-12 sales appointments daily between established and prospective customers • Increase sales and profit margins within a geographic territory • Develop the growth of the branch by consistently securing new business through business-to-business (B2B) sales of siding, windows, and other exterior building products • Cultivate and manage customer relationships • Assist and correct customer complaints • Educate customers on Lansing’s products and services • Help customers increase business while improving their profits Qualifications: • Prior B2B outside sales experience in the building products, construction, or wholesale industry (preferred) • Strong customer service, communication, and social skills • All-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquette • Ability to work individually and on a team • Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile • Commitment to setting and achieving goals • History of strong ethics and high integrity Compensation Package: • Guaranteed base salary with opportunity for bonus • Company car, cell phone, and tablet • Ability to qualify for annual sales incentive trip
