A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN VETERINARY ASSISTANT
As a Vet Assistant, you are responsible for helping Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVMs) in performing various treatments for our pet patients.
Carefully and promptly, you handle animals, tools, and procedures.
This includes helping out with animal restraining, carefully making sure pets are held back while treatments are being performed.
You also create treatment plans, manage pets carefully, and assist around the office wherever you are needed.
Your assistance and skills help facilitate the best possible environment for animal care! Plus, you enjoy working with our pet patients every day.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VETERINARY ASSISTANT
1+ year of emergency or critical care experience
Ability to meet the physical demands typical of this position
Ability to help with front desk duties when needed
Are you self-motivated? Can you build strong client relations and good rapport? Do you have excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally? If yes, you might just be perfect for this Vet Assistant position!
