Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time experienced Hand & Wrist Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Riverside Orthopedic, Sports Medicine & Physiatry Specialists in Newport News, Virginia.

The scope of the position includes but is not limited to:
Comprehensive care of musculoskeletal conditions of the hand and wrist.
Pre-op, post-op and non-operative care including injections and other office-based services.
The provision of access for new hand and wrist patients.
Pre-op H&Ps.
Independent care of appropriate hand and wrist patients through the prescription of therapies, medications and other combinations of interventions.
Working in close partnership with Hand Surgeons and CHTs

Education
Nurse Practitioner- Masters in Nursing
Nurse Practitioner License
Nurse Practitioner certification
Physician Assistant - Master Degree
Physician Assistant License
Required
Meet comprehensive and professional standards
Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration
Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
