Senior Financial Auditor

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Financial Auditor Department: Veterans Affairs Type: Full Time Min.
Experience: Experienced Security Clearance Level: Public Trust Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) as required by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
Prepare audit reports that contain an assessment of invoices and a detailed listing of findings and any adjustments required to the invoices or all inappropriately invoiced services.
Deliver an audit report specific to a contract that was audited following the completion of each audit.
Provide the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) with non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) signed by each member of the audit team having access to the contract files that provide affirmation that the Team and its staff shall not, at any point in time, share, discuss, or otherwise make available any Medical Disability Examination (MDE) contract terms and conditions.
For each year of performance of the MDE contracts, conduct an “interim” and a “final” audit for each option year of the contract, if ordered by the government.
Provide Monthly Invoice Reviews to validate CPT coding and pricing for all Vendor examination contracts.
Provide Monthly Mileage Reimbursement Audits for all MDE contracts.

Must possess at least 8 years of professional experience.
