The Role Plans, develops, and coordinates O38 product training programs MT/PT Testing.
Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids/mock-ups for MT/PT testing technique.
Additionally, the candidate conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
Tracks qualification expiration and ensures maintenance is completed.
May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Ability to obtain a Confidential clearance is required.
Must Have Bachelor’s degree or Apprentice School graduate; Or High School and 5 years of related trade experience.
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School could be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
