Job Description:
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for an Endoscopy (GI) Technician at Fort Eustis in Newport News, VA.
Requirements:
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
High school degree
Basic understanding of practices and concepts related to endoscopy procedures
1 year of experience in endoscopy preferred
Patient related knowledge with procedures and care preferred
Duties:
Provide assistance to physicians and nurses during endoscopy procedures
Prepare and organize procedure room and is responsible for keeping it functioning
Prepare and maintain the endoscopes and equipment used
Provides high level disinfecting post procedure for the endoscopes according to facility standards
Position Highlights:
Full time (not a remote position)
Emphasis on work-life balance (No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements)
Monday-Friday schedule (8 or 10 hour days) for a total of 24 hours/week
Work will be accomplished in various departments of the medical treatment facility (satellite clinic, health, and wellness centers)
