The Role Responsible for the success of the product by maximizing the output of the development team within a scrum framework.
Responsible for ordering backlog, clearly expressing the product backlog items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work the team performs.
Lead collaboration, facilitate sprint activities, and create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product/project managers, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Develop and adapt the product vision, writing new user stories, and specify acceptance of each user story.
Bring members of the User Community together to share knowledge, identify enhancements, manage toolset or training improvements, discuss issues, and drive toward process standardization.
Ensure the health and quality of specific processes and resulting products across the value stream.
Responsible for the success of the product by maximizing the output of the SAP basis admin team within a scrum/Kanban framework.
Collaborates with the Product Team: Continually matures the story backlog and ensures the delivery team does not get blocked or surprised and works closely with the Delivery Team to ensure user stories are refined and available planning and execution.
Activities and Interactions: • Attend relevant Planning meetings • Support Delivery Team with any functional questions during story development • Ensures knowledge and experiences of the Delivery Team are communicated to the Product and Portfolio Teams • Advise for any RIDAs (Risks, Impediments, Dependencies, and Assumptions) Deliverables: • Stories that are crafted with an understanding of the solution What Success looks like: • The user stories are under the highest priority and Epics and Features are being sequenced accordingly for upcoming execution • Highest priority user stories are ready to be committed by the team • The backlog of stories and corresponding tasks are prioritized for the team to work.
Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; Masters Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience One of the following may be used as an equivalent to Bachelor's Degree : NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience · Nice to Have Experience working in Agile/ Kanban software development of SAFe Demonstrated performance under high pressure situations Demonstrated written/oral communication and teaming skills Ability to execute with minimal management oversight Technical leadership charisma to build trust with internal and external team members Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment experience Why HII We build the world’s most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space and cyber.
