Radiology Services Coordinator - Peninsula Breast Centers

Sentara Health is currently hiring a full time, day shift Radiology Services Coordinator to support the Peninsula Breast Centers (Sentara Careplex, Sentara Port Warwick, and Sentara Williamsburg).
This position will be based at Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA but may require minimal travel to Sentara Williamsburg and Sentara Careplex hospitals.
Job Description: Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis Responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats Job Requirements: Education: High School Grad or Equivalent Experience: Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical environment preferred.
