Description:
DOCS Health is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant in Virginia to work at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
Candidates will work in tandem with a Dentist to provide on-site dental care in a controlled, safe corrections environment.
This is an incredible opportunity to earn supplemental income, gain valuable experience in a public health setting, and make a difference in the health outcomes for individuals.
Consistent Schedule, every Friday from 7:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
Set-up and breakdown of room.
Sterilization of all equipment.
Take/process x-rays.
Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
Work with portable/mobile equipment.
Requirements:
Graduate of Dental Assistant Program or on the job training
One (1) year or more dental assisting experience - preferred
Active x-Ray Certification
CPR/BLS
Valid Driver License
Reliable Transportation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
