*A Day in The Life…*
*Caregivers/CNA are the main support providers to our residents.
The position provides assistance to residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Program(s) with their activities of daily living, implementation of resident plans of care, documentation of nursing services and enabling residents to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
The position will enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with patience and a friendly smile all while embracing teamwork and collaboration among all staff.

_*On a Given Day, our Caregivers/CNA will spend time:*_
* Aiding as needed with medication reminders (as applicable), bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
* Following the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
* Providing emotional and social support to residents.
* Document daily assistance provided per protocol.
* Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
* Respect residents’ confidentiality and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
* Be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
* Keep up to date with all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
* Must be able to lift/carry up to 80lbs.
* Frequent standing and walking required.
* Possible exposure to communicable diseases and infections.
