This position is for a Level 1 outpatient substance use treatment program and domestic violence group facilitator.
The position will require providing substance use counseling services including but notlimited to assessment, treatment planning, conducting group therapy, and case management, as well as providing facilitation of 1-2 domestic violence groups/week.
Ideal candidate would be a Qualified Batterer Intervention Facilitator with all necessary training (32 hours.
) Position will require some evening work.
Groups will be 1.
5 hours and will follow a trauma informed CBT curriculum.
*Duties:* Assesses all new intakes, using American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria, to determine presence and extent of substance use illness, appropriate level of care required, and completes evaluation report.
Performs assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, documentation, discharge planning and referral of substance using and domestic violence clients.
Makes appropriate referrals for individuals requiring higher levels of treatment.
Assists client through group therapy sessions.
Communicates treatment plans and other treatment related issues with criminal justiceofficers, case managers, and other outside referral sources.
Provides services planned to restore client to optimum social and health adjustment.
Maintains client case records.
Responsible for timely complete of weekly group notes and monthly progress reports.
Conducts urine drug screens.
Develops and documents individualized treatment plans that address the needs ofsubstance use client population.
Develops and facilitates process groups and educational programs.
Identifies opportunities for program improvement.
Ensures compliance with legal issues including but not limited to client confidentialityand risk management; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with clients, families,and other personnel.
Adjusts to fluctuating peaks in client flow, acuity, and other operational demands whilemaintaining quality.
Performs other duties as assigned by program manager and / or Director.
*Skills/Qualifications:* * Must be willing to learn and ask questions, accept feedback and be accountable.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to manage priorities and workflow; versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to workwithin constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Strong interpersonal skills * Able to work collaboratively with multiple health and criminal justice professionals usingtact, diplomacy, and discipline.
* Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
*Experience:* * Substance use counseling: Master’s Degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work; 4+ year's experience and LCSW, LPC preferred * Experience in Trauma Informed Services is a plus.
* Domestic Violence group facilitator: Qualified Batterers Intervention Facilitator with all necessary training (32 hours) or working towards qualifications.

* *Pay Scale is $50,000 to $58,000 Annual Salary based on *qualifications *and *experience.
