Amentum is seeking a seasonal Lifeguard located in Central Virginia.
The Lifeguard monitors activities at swimming pool to prevent accidents.
Job Requirements:
Provide assistance to swimmers,
Maintains order in pool and pool areas
Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning
Administers first aid, inspects facilities for cleanliness, cleans pool and pool areas including bathhouse, determines chlorine content and pH value of water using water testing kit, and records reading.
This person may check-in and out items such as towels and personal items, may conduct or officiate at swimming meets and may give swimming instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
16 years of age or older.
Completion of lifeguard training.
1+ months related experience.
First Aid and CPR certification.
AED certification preferred.
Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
Available to work shifts.
Physically fit, strong, agile, and dexterous.
Base resident or active government issued clearance at time of application
