Posting Date: 12/12/23 Salary Range: $34,500 - $46,800 (A/S-II) Work Location Type: Dedicated On-site (100% on-site work) What your job will be like: As a Property Clerk in the Shipping and Receiving department, you will perform a variety of activities in support of Shipping & Receiving, including Financial Management, Property Management and Logistics, and ongoing Lab projects.
In your day-to-day, you will review Packing Slips, Purchase Orders, Purchase Requests and Credit Card entries to determine the status of the purchase, and which person is receiving them.
You will use a variety of software to generate reports and manage records.
In this role, you will: Perform physical inventories of existing cashes of technical components stored across the Lab.
Research individual technical components using physical characteristics, markings and manufacturer’s catalogs to identify and classify each component.
Enter data into technical stockroom database or develop individual spreadsheets of non-stockroom inventories.
Complete mail sorting and stamping for outgoing parcels, and letters.
Act as backup shipping clerk and delivery clerk.
Supplement technical stockroom or shipment receiving staff during times of high volume or staff shortages.
Perform incoming shipment inspection, tracking, data entry, problem resolution, property tagging and on-site delivery tasks.
Qualifications We Require: Education: High School Diploma Experience: Two years relevant experience in property administration Must have a valid driver’s license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and processes.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare accurate and understandable reports Ability to use of relational databases to track and analysis data including development of custom reports Computer skills including but not limited to; emails, word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry skills.
General knowledge of suspect and counterfeit parts.
Basic understanding of high school science.
Qualifications We Desire: Education and Experience: Four years post-secondary training Technical experience in electronics or engineering is high desirable.
