Job Description
In addition to working as a server, the Lead Server trains new and current dining team members, coordinates and supervises the dining room team with direction from the Dining Room Manager, and performs opening and closing duties.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years server experience at a restaurant preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced knowledge of dining room “front house” operations to perform mid-level duties in serving and presentation of the dining experience at the community.
Performs opening or closing of dining rooms each shift
Gives support and direction to servers
Knowledge of food service and presentation as well as customer service and sanitation.
Knowledge of basic food production, hosting, and serving.
Ability to compute basic math.
Good communication skills and experience working with older adults.
Other duties as assigned
