Responsibilities:
- Conduct title searches and research to determine property ownership and any potential issues or liens
- Prepare and review title commitments, title reports, and other related documents
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to ensure a smooth closing process
- Assist in resolving any title defects or issues that may arise during the transaction
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns regarding title matters
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to title transactions
Skills:
- Proficient in GIS (Geographic Information System) software for mapping and analyzing property data
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and regulations pertaining to title processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills for conducting thorough title searches
- Familiarity with title processing software and tools for efficient document preparation and management
