University Instructors (UI) is seeking dynamic face-to-face elementary and secondary teachers and tutors with a passion for supporting students in grades K-12 for the 2023-24 school year.
In this role, under the direction of the University Instructors’ team, and the school district, you will partner with long-term subs and teachers to support K-12 instruction.

*Roles and Responsibilities*
In this role, you’ll:
* Engage with students in a friendly and professional manner.
* Know academic standards, grade level, course content, and best instructional practices.
* Prepare lessons and provide whole group and differentiated small group instruction.
* Respond to student questions in a positive and supportive manner, providing as detailed instructions as needed.
* Work with the students to set and maintain progress goals.
* Participate in relevant professional development and professional learning communities.
* Submit records related to attendance, student progress, and other UI program requirements on time.
* Support with all assigned duties, including lunch, hallway, bus, and other activities when needed.
* Co-plan with assigned teachers and grade-level teams.
* Complete other duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

*Education and Work Experience*
As a successful applicant, you must have a passion for helping students succeed.
Additionally, you will need to have the following:
* Hold a bachelor’s degree
* Be local to the area
* Two years of experience providing instruction in (specified subject area)
