Position Overview: Koniag Management Solutions (KMS) is looking for a highly qualified Computer Programmer to support our government customer located in Fort Eustis, VA.
This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds in the Department of Defense (DoD) and US Industry to develop and implement Training and Education (T&E) products and support services for the Department of the Army and its Army Virtual Learning Environment (AVLE) 2.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: AVLE 2.

0 leverages new learning using technologies in courseware design and delivery to enable the execution of rigorous, relevant, and tailorable learning content at the point of need.
The AVLE 2.
0 provides a total Army capability that will enable a dynamic learning environment to support the Active, Reserve and Army Civilian professional workforce with products developed at the newly defined interactivity levels of 0 through 4.
AVLE 2.
0 provides the Army with the ability to achieve a more effective and efficient T&E environment that will establish the conditions that are vital for the preparation of mission-ready Soldiers, leaders, civilians, and organizations.
AVLE 2.
0 provides T&E, which can be delivered anytime and anywhere, with or without an instructor, to new and varied delivery platforms.
The successful candidate will provide the following: Provide Computer Programing in support of Desktop or Notebook Web Applications Develop and maintain T&E products, ensuring they support a dynamic learning environment.
Write code and program applications for scoring desktop and notebook Distributed Learning (DL) simulations and augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) DL training environments.
Utilize programming languages and technologies relevant to Modeling and Simulation or Web Applications Collaborate with stakeholders, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to understand the needs and objectives of DL simulations and AR/VR training environments.
Implement scoring mechanisms within DL simulations and training environments to accurately track and assess learner performance.
Develop and integrate immersive multimedia elements, providing learners with realistic scenarios where they respond to sensory cues.
Apply expertise in WebVR development to create interactive and immersive training experiences within AVLE 2.
0 Ensure that the developed applications and simulations are compatible with desktop and notebook systems.
Test and debug software applications to identify and fix any technical issues or bugs, to ensure the quality and reliability of the DL simulations and training environments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including designers, artists, and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of programming components.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, programming languages, and best practices in modeling and simulation, web applications, AR/VR, and immersive learning environments.
Document code and application development processes, maintain version control, and provide technical documentation.

of Computer Science (Specialization in Modeling and Simulation or Web Applications) Minimum of five (5) years of paid experience developing successful scoring desktop and notebook DL simulations and augmented and virtual reality DL training environments for the DOD.
Minimum one (1) year of experience at WebVR development Experience with Level 4 IMI - immersive multimedia or computer-simulated virtual or augmented reality, in which the learner engages in a real-life scenario responding to sensory cues a plus.
Knowledge of the US Army, TRADOC or The Army Distributed Learning Program (TADLP) is a plus.
Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
