Description
Responsibilities include:
Oversee all quality standards by all stewards in the kitchen during your scheduled shift.
Exemplify proper techniques, finesse, and knowledge of all stewarding procedures and methods.
Examine all areas of kitchen for cleanliness and sanitation with daily walk-throughs.
Ensure all cleaning shifts standard sheet are complete.
Maintenance in food storage areas.
Maintain silver, china and glassware's par levels.
Quarterly china, glass and silverware inventory.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure employee reports are following established procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, Sundays, and holidays.
Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing.
Exercise high level of tact and discretion.
Demonstrate extreme courtesy and hospitality in stressful situations.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain current Williamsburg James City County Food Handlers Card.
Must have a proper vehicle operating license and be approved as a Colonial Williamsburg Safe Driver.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Ability to lift, handle and transport up to 100 pounds as necessary
Carry heavy objects up and down stairs
Bending, stooping and lifting
Working while standing for long periods of time
Working at a fast pace for several hours at a time
Working at heights over 6 feet
