06 Maserati Quattroporte - $4,500 (NewportNews)

2006 Maserati Quattroporte Does not run it’s been parked roughly almost three years The duo select transmission would not go into drive or reverse so It stayed park and has been since December 20th 2020 I had it scanned before I had that issue,there was a power drainage supply of some short and two carbon fuel evaps codes The old battery was getting drained which is why I had it scanned and I replaced the battery which the newer battery is now dead.
I was starting most through out 2021 slacked off a few months then the battery died and I just didn’t pay it any mind so I haven’t had the Time,space or a lift to mess with it,was going to get a used transmission and gear box and replace those and go from there but never got around to it,it could be something to do with refilling the gear box fluid and having it reprogrammed or something idk the guy I had working on it guess didn’t know too much about it neither did I so here I am idk what’s wrong with it could be something minor and easy fix I feel like but I’m no professional mechanic but I’m open to all and any offers.
Thing is I didn’t wanna give it away for nothing I paid almost 26k for it back in 2016 (which I think was a little too much but)I could part the car out for more than a thousand or two so no ridiculous low offers
