Attention to Detail
1-3 years of Accounting Experience
Basic knowledge of Excel
Understanding of working in different softwares
Good written and verbal communication
Understanding of lease language a plus
Real estate payables
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management within the scope of department/business objectives.
Work Related:
Process lease payables such as: utilities, building repairs/preventative maintenance, insurance, real estate tax
Ensure expenses charged to Ferguson are in compliance with lease clauses
Complete desktop audit of landlord reconciliation statements
Communicate and follow up with transaction managers and landlords on additional information needed; assess materiality and recommend action for additional audit recovery
Input and maintain information regarding lease expenses and financial accounting transactions
Tracks payables and receivables associated with leases in portfolio.
Prepare export files and send to accounting for payables processing
Other:
Ability and willingness to vary hours and work overtime as necessitated by business needs
Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
