Bay Electric Co.
is seeking an experienced Service Department Dispatcher to schedule electricians for service calls and process billing.
You will be responsible for coordinating multiple service techs each day to be the most efficient as possible when doing service calls.
Other responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, ordering parts, obtaining electrical permits, invoicing other customers and doing spreadsheets to meet management's goals each day.
Someone with construction, service industry or bookkeeping experience usually does the best in this position.
You should be able to effectively communicate with customers and service techs to get the job done on time, as scheduled, and as efficient as possible in order to be profitable for the Company.
You must be able to anticipate problems with customers, inspectors, suppliers and difficult customers to achieve resolutions on your own.
After training, you must be able to evaluate a customer's situation to match the appropriate service tech to that customer's situation.
Skills required include being proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google and utilizing local city/county permitting website databases.
You will be trained on using our Cloud-based scheduling software, accounting software for invoicing and another customer required database for entering their work orders each day.
Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.
Pay: $40,000.
00 - $48,000.
00 per year depending on experience.
