The Administrator of Finance is a full time (40 hour per week) position and will report directly to the Executive Administrator.
The Administrator of Finance will also work closely with the Treasurer and Senior Pastor of Ivy Baptist Church to ensure accurate record keeping of all financial information of the church.
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or business related field is required.

* A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable and Payroll is required.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and knowledgeable and other Microsoft software (i.
e.
Microsoft Word and Powerpoint) and Database software knowledge.
* Knowledgeable of PowerChurch software is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of Realm
* Excellent organizational skills is required.
To include, proper filing, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations and proper communication with vendors.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
* Experience with business development/expansion is preferred.
* A team player and willing spirit to support other Office Staff members as needed is essential.
Has demonstrated skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, the congregation and others, within a team environment.
* Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding bylaws, goals and office policies and procedures of Ivy Baptist Church.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial Statements
* Provide analysis of General Ledger accounts
* Annual budget compilation
* Prepare books for Audit
* Provide accounting expertise to all departments of the Church
* Bank Reconciliation for most funded accounts to include monthly credit card statement.
* Prepare quarterly and annual tax filings.
* Prepare weekly payroll, vendor checks and financial related mailings.
* Prepare 1099 and W2 tax forms for independent contractors and employees and filing.
* Maintain all financial records and prepare various spreadsheets and financial reports as needed.
* Ability to think strategically to help the leadership of Ivy Baptist Church to develop financial plans that advance the Church's mission.
