The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers.
We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
*Objectives of this role:*
• Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems.
• Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
*Responsibilities:*
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
• Research and resolve variances of outstanding payments with vendors.
• Ensure invoices are paid timely to mitigate risk of penalty fees and/or service interruptions.
• Assist the AP manager as needed.
*Required skills and qualifications:*
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Superb time management skills and detail orientation
*Preferred skills and qualifications:*
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience in accounts payable 3 - 5 years
• Experience with accounting software and online platforms
• Experience with Property Management
The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 USD to $75,000 USD annually.
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to the individual's knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, and skills.
